1. Website Use
The CIFST Ontario website provides public chapter information, event details, sponsorship paths, membership handoff links, and contact forms. Please use the site respectfully and do not submit false, abusive, or automated form messages.
2. Event Registration
Event details, dates, venues, prices, and registration status are shown on the relevant event pages. Available Golf sponsorships, and Tabletop booth and sponsorship checkout are the live payment paths currently shown on the public site. Player registration and Dinner Only are sold out. Other sponsorships, visitor interest, planning, invoice, and cheque questions are handled directly with CIFST Ontario unless a specific online checkout link is published.
3. Stripe Payment Processing And Taxes
When payment is available, checkout opens through Stripe in a separate tab. Stripe processes payment details under its own terms and privacy practices. Do not send card information through CIFST Ontario contact forms.
All prices are in CAD and subject to 13% HST. GST/HST no.: 822477485RT0001.
4. Refunds, Cancellations, And Changes
Refund, substitution, cancellation, and event-change requests are handled case by case by the Ontario team. If an event changes, CIFST Ontario will use reasonable contact information available from registration or inquiry records to share practical next steps.
5. Membership
CIFST membership is handled nationally through CIFST National. CIFST Ontario does not process local membership checkout on this website. Use the national membership portal for joining or renewal, and contact Ontario for local chapter questions.
6. Sponsorship Participation
Sponsorship participation depends on event fit, availability, payment status where applicable, and confirmation by CIFST Ontario. Sponsor names, logos, recognition, and fulfillment details are published only after approval.
7. Attendee, Dietary, And Accessibility Information
If an event requires attendee names, dietary needs, allergy notes, or accessibility information, CIFST Ontario will provide an appropriate collection path for that event. General contact forms can be used for questions, but they do not replace a dedicated attendee information workflow.
8. Privacy
Personal information submitted through forms or event paths is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Submitting a form does not create newsletter or marketing consent unless a separate opt-in is provided.
